Dee-jaying again tonight

I'm dee-jaying again tonight!

This time it's at Gallerie La Centrale (4296 boul St-Laurent) for the opening of the show Performance and Activism in Everyday Life, put together by collaborating artists Lori Blondeau (saskatoon), Adrian Stimson (saskatoon), and Cheryl l'Hirondelle (vancouver).

I'll be playing rock and roll, western kitsch, johnny cash, and miscellaneous sweat lodge jams from 8pm til 11pm. Show runs from May 15th to May 18th 2008.

YOU KNOW ME FINE

My pals Walter and Olivia are showing their work all this month at the Cagibi. It's called YOU DON'T KNOW ME.

I would post all the exact info and stuff, but I'm using the computer at work that explodes everytime I try to post pictures and things like that. So, just click HERE to go to Walter's blag to read all about it.

OH YEAH. Tonight is the vernissage, from 7 til 11pm, and I'll be dee-jaying my faverat classic sk8 punk, power plop, weird punk, tragic jams, and cartoon rock pre-Time's Up! . Come and buy me beverage.

*EDITED*

Here is the flyer:

Stuff's up all month. Looks swank. If you like life (or H8 it) you'll check this out!

Bad Vibrations (revisited)

A tee shirt I made was featured in the Pregnant Goldfish fashion blog, about a million years ago, but I'm kind of slow to find out these kind of things.

Heh!

Oh, and I still have a ton of those shirts. They're mostly smaller sizes on sweet pink tie dye, but I think a few bigger ones are left too. Lemme know if you want.

Hm... what else? Euh, listen to this band, they are good: http://www.myspace.com/viviangirlsnyc

EVERYTHING

These are some frames from a stop motion video animation (I'm not sure exactly how to label it) I'm working on. It's about collections, consumption, clothing, and identity.
And guess what?
YOU CAN BE PART OF IT!
!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!

Basically, I come to your house, and take pictures of you for a couple of hours wearing everything you own (not necessarily limited to clothing). All you have to do is sit there and be a tad patient. I may see you without your shirt on. I will bring you cookies, or fruit, or a beer, and conversation.

If you wanna do this get in touch with me!

I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do with this project, or when exactly it will be "done", but whatever.
